An ILF Alumni Get-Together will be held in Frankfurt am Main on Monday, 10 June 2013, 7:30 pm at Apfelwein Wagner.

The Nanjing University of Finance and Economics (NUFE) and the ILF have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), agreeing to explore the opportunities of mutual cooperation in the fields of joint research and education, exchanging students and faculty members and organizing conferences on topics of relevance to Sino-German economic relations. On May 16, 2013, ILF Research Assistent Dr. Tim Florstedt held his initial lecture (Antrittsvorlesung) on "Die Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Berufshaftung im Sytem des Zivilrechts" at the Faculty of Law at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.

On May 14, 2013 the Vice-President of Zhejiang Financial College, Professor Jiang Jin visited the ILF with a delegation comprising Professors Wang Dongsheng, Xu Haijie, Xu Jing, Yu Zhaofen and Zhang Haiyan, to talk about a possible cooperation between both institutions. Zhejiang Financial College is located in the city of Hangzhou especially known for its beautiful scenery at the West Lake.

A delegation of 13 Colombian students from Corporación Universitaria Empresarial Alexander von Humboldt, Colombia, visited the ILF on 6 and 7 May 2013. The students were received by Managing Director Dr. Rolf Friedewald and Program and Marketing Manager Ms. Shen-Dee Kobbelt. The Institute for Law and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main offers a unique one-year graduate program leading to a Master of Laws in Finance. Up to 60 highly qualified graduates will be admitted for study so as to ensure academic excellence and direct personal contact between students and the faculty. ILF students are fully-enrolled members of Goethe University which confers the LL.M. Finance degree.
