Dr. Langheid has wide expertise in the field of Insurance, Liability and Banking Law. His professional practice includes litigation, counselling, mediation and also trusteeship for numerous insurers for their General Terms and Conditions.
Vita:
Dr. Langheid was born in Oberhausen, Germany. He received his education at the University of Cologne, where he also took his degree of Doctor of Laws (Dr. jur.). He was assistant lecturer for Prof. Dr. Kriele and different technical colleges lecturing Insurance law. In his professional career Dr. Langheid was involved in a number of significant international claim settlements. Due to his broad experience Dr. Langheid was also a co-adviser on behalf of the European Union and is a designated member of the current Expert Commission of the German Ministry of Justice for the reform of the German Insurance Contract Law.
Publications:
Dr. Langheid is co-founder and member of the board of editors of various periodicals. He has published extensively on Insurance Law.
