4 June 2018: Conference on "Two Digital Worlds – Data Protection and Data Security in Europe and China"

Data protection and data security issues enjoy top-level priority, not least with the implementation of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). International companies must observe not only the rules of their home country, but also the standards of the other countries in which they are engaged – and must legally as well as practically bring the different regimes in line in their organization. In 2016, a new Cybersecurity Law came into force in China. This new law – with its unique purpose and implementation – specifically challenges international companies with business in China.
