His key interests is corporate finance research, private equity and venture capital in particular.


Thomas Heyden studied Economics and Mathematics at the Universities of Giessen and Darmstadt, Germany, and holds a Master’s degree in Economics, majoring Financial Markets and Institutions. Besides his function as a research associate, he is also the founder of a non-profit organization called Private Equity Forum at JLU. He has been a teaching associate at the Institute for Law & Finance at Frankfurt University since October 2017.
