2 Nov 2015: ILF Conference with Hengeler Mueller: "One Year of SSM: Effective and Efficient Supervision in a Volatile World?"

We are delighted to announce the upcoming event of the Institute for Law and Finance together with Hengeler Mueller.

One year ago, the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) was established and the European Central Bank (ECB) assumed supervisory tasks in the euro area. From January 2016, the Single Resolution Board (SRB) will be fully operational with a complete set of resolution powers to ensure orderly resolution of failing banks.

Leading regulators and industry representatives will take a critical look at the first twelve months of the SSM, the ECB’s achievements and challenges and will discuss their expectations for the future activities of the SSM and the SRB.
