ALUMNI STORIES & MORE: GET TO KNOW.....

ILF alumni from Serbia met up at an Alumni Dinner on 3 December 2023 and here is what Katarina Milić says:

"In the photo you can see (from left to right): Dragoljub Sretenović, Filip Kovačević, Miloš Kuzman, Katarina Milić (myself), Nina Vasić and Marko Kalanj (current ILF student).

It was a very nice dinner where we had a chance to talk about the ways we found out about the ILF, which turned out to be one from another. Ultimately, each new student found out about the ILF from the previous generation's student, which is fascinating to think about - someone's choices from 20 years ago shaped e.g. my choices and my future so many years later.

We also talked about what everyone was doing after the ILF, and I'm very proud to say that most of the ILF students from Serbia returned to Serbia and are having brilliant careers and beautiful lives. Having in mind our countries economic proportions, it's a huge compliment for the ILF - it shapes people and makes them capable of big things in their own surroundings and home countries, and does not just attract students because of its position in one of the most powerful economies in the world. In total, we concluded that it's a very unique program offering what other LL.M. programs aren't, and in that sense we are all very happy to spread the ILF's impact, spread the word about the program and help anyone else that wants to embark on the ILF journey.

Finally, the ILF management probably isn't aware of the huge impact they left in their students' lives, but you are all very much appreciated and greeted by us!"
