The ILF held its Alumni Roundtables (ARTs) in Shanghai and Beijing on 12 and 24 November 2017 respectively, to which all alumni were cordially invited. It was an excellent opportunity for our alumni to meet and catch up with one another and also get to know the graduates of the other classes who are now working and living in China.
At the Shanghai ART, the alumni and staff of the ILF were happy to meet Mrs. Christina Werum-Wang MBA, M.A., who is currently the Vice-Director of the Sino-German College of Applied Sciences (CDHAW), Tongji University, Shanghai, China. She is also formerly the Managing Director of the Confucius Institute Frankfurt and she taught a course on intercultural communications at the ILF.
Mr. Daniel Albrecht, Managing Counsel of Starke Consulting, Beijing, China, Attorney at Law (admitted in Germany) and Guest Professor for Civil Law at the China University of Political Science and Law, joined the ILF ART in Beijing as a special guest of the evening. He recently published articles on the status of e-business in China and on topics regarding the protection of intellectual property rights in cross-border trade.
