Our students and alumni were cordially invited to an exclusive ILF Career Event held at Fidelity International's German Office in Kronberg im Taunus on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.
After welcoming remarks delivered by Ms. Andrea van Almsick, Head of Legal Germany, and Dr. Rolf Friedewald, ILF Managing Director, Ms. Victoria Kelly, Head of Corporate Sutainability and Enterprise Relationships UK Office London, talked about the ESG approach of Fidelity in her speech "Sustainability at Fidelity".
She was followed by Mr. Carsten Roemheld, Capital Market Strategist, who held the presentation "Navigating the Polycrisis – Outlook 2023" in which he focused on the effects which the current crises will have on the economic growth and development in Germany, Europe and worldwide in 2023.
Each speech was followed by an interactive Q&A session where our students and alumni could share their views and questions on the topics presented as well as engage in discussions with the speakers.
The Career Event closed with a Career Panel consisting of Ms. Andrea van Almsick, Dr. Kim Heyden, Specialist Key Account Distribution, Ms. Dinara Yalaletdinova, Compliance Officer and ILF Alumna, as well as Mr. Timos Sourvas, Legal Counsel and ILF Alumnus. The panelists not only spoke about their roles and tasks at Fidelity International but also gave an insight about their individual career paths and the role the ILF played in securing them their positions at Fidelity International. The Career Panel was moderated by Ms. Ulrike Gerber, Early Careers Lead CE.
In the evening, a networking reception was held to allow ILF students and alumni to network with employees of Fidelity International working in the areas of Risk, Compliance, Audit and Early Careers and to exchange information about career prospectives at Fidelity International.
