Dr. Johannes Beermann of Deutsche Bundesbank appointed as Member of the ILF Board of Trustees

Dr. Johannes Beermann, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Bundesbank, has been appointed by the President of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Prof. Dr. Birgitta Wolff, as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) of Goethe University.

Dr. Beermann is a lawyer and responsible for Cash Matters, Controlling, Accounting, Organization, Administration, Building, Campus and Procurement at Deutsche Bundesbank. In July 2017, Dr. Beermann held the commencement speech for the graduates of the ILF Class of 2017. Deutsche Bundesbank is a founding member of the ILF and a strong supporter of the ILF and has been providing lecturers, internships and conference speakers since the establishment of the ILF in 2002.

Dr. Beermann succeeds the former Executive Board Member of Deutsche Bundesbank, Mr. Carl-Ludwig Thiele, in the Board of Trustees of the ILF. We sincerely thank Mr. Thiele for his dedicated work in the Board of Trustees from which the ILF has highly benefited in the past years.
