On 23 November 2015, the ILF brought together leaders from the industry, regulators and academia, including, among many other distinguished speakers, John Cryan, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank, Danièle Nouy, President of the Supervisory Board, European Central Bank, Jean-Claude Trichet, Chairman, Group of Thirty, Paul Tucker, Senior Fellow, Harvard Kennedy School and Axel Weber, Chairman, UBS, to discuss how to resolve the culture and ethics issues involved and reestablish finance as a true profession with broader social obligations and encourage market participants to think of their roles as part of a broader system.
