The ILF has embarked on a new project this summer semester 2023 - its own Podcast Series titled "The Deal Makers".
This podcast of the ILF is managed with the input of and assistance from the student cohort. It aims to explore the evolving landscape between law and finance and show how legal frameworks and regulations are adapting to keep pace with these changes. It is hoped that an engaging platform will be created where one can delve deeper into the current legal issues and industry trends that are shaping the future of law and finance.
In the first episode titled "Building a Sustainable Future - Impact of ESG Factors on Project Finance", Dr. Daniel Reichert-Facilides, Senior Counsel of Chatham Partners and Mr. Andreas Ruthemeyer, Counsel of Clifford Chance, will be discussing the impact of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors on project finance . They will touch upon various facets of ESG, including taxonomy, regulations and greenwashing and also give their views on the importance of having an ESG agenda for the future.
