On 11 July 2014, the ILF welcomed Prof. Weixing Shen, the Vice-Dean of Tsinghua University Law School, Beijing.
The ILF staff together with Dr. Susanne Pelster, Managing Director of the Law Faculty, Ms. Eva Issa from the Law Faculty’s Foreign Office and ILF alumnus Mr. Wenyu Qian held a lunch reception for Prof. Shen.
After the lunch, Prof. Shen received a guided tour of the House of Finance, accompanied by Dr. Rolf Friedewald, ILF Managing Director, Ms. Shen Dee Kobbelt, ILF Program & Marketing Manager and Ms. Chongxiang Chen, Admissions and Marketing Assistant.
Being well acquainted with Prof. Dr. Manfred Wandt, ILF Executive Board Member, Prof. Shen was very glad to be able to visit the ILF in person. Earlier in June this year, they had met each other at the “3rd Joint Conference of China-Europe Law School” in Paris. The possibility of having a future cooperation between Tsinghua Law School and the ILF will be discussed very soon.
