On 14 October 2019, the ILF received a delegation of professors from the School of Economic Law of East China University of Political Science and Law comprising Prof. Yulin Qian, Dean, Prof. Jian Wu, Associate Professor, Prof. Dongguang Wang, Associate Professor and Prof. Wei Zhai, Associate Professor.
The ILF representatives comprising Prof. Dr. Andreas Cahn, ILF Executive Director, Dr. Rolf Friedewald, ILF Managing Director, Ms. Shen-Dee Kobbelt, Head of Programs and Marketing and Ms. Chongxiang Chen, Admissions and Marketing Manager held a meeting in the House of Finance. Prof. Cahn welcomed the delegation and Ms. Chen introduced the ILF and its LL.M. International Finance program in the Chinese language. Prof. Qian then introduced the School of Economic Law.
After the discussion with the ILF, the delegation was introduced to Prof. Dr. Jens Gal, Lecturer at the ILF, Professor of Institute for Insurance Law and Prof. Dr. Michael Haliassos, Lecturer at the ILF and Professor of Macroeconomics and Finance. Chinese-German insurance law as well as economic environment between China and Germany were discussed.
Prof. Haliassos, Dr. Friedewald, Ms. Kobbelt and Ms. Chen then welcomed the delegation at Café Sturm & Drang on Campus Westend for the get-together lunch. Ms. Jun Zheng, a current student of the LL.M. International Finance program who is also an Alumna of the East China University of Political Science and Law joined the lunch. The delegation members and Ms. Zheng were both very happy to be able to meet each other on the campus of Goethe University.
