On 9 October 2023, the ILF received a delegation of professors from Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU), China, comprising Vice-President Professor Yanli Lu, Prof. Shibin Gao, Dean, Maize Research Institute, Prof. Fei Shen, Vice-Dean, College of Environmental Science and Prof. Yue Li, Deputy Director, International Office of Exchange and Cooperation.
We are very honored that Vice-President of Goethe University, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Brüne joined this meeting. Prof. Brüne warmly welcomed all the guests and colleagues and gave a short presentation of Goethe University as an excellent, international university in the digital age, knowledge for development, sustainability and justice in the 21st century. The delegation also discussed the possibilities of a future cooperation with Goethe University though the exchange of students and scholars.
After a coffee break, in the second session, the ILF team and the delegation signed the dual-degree agreement. The Master's students at SAU with a first degree in law/economics/finance/business would be eligible to apply for our LL.M. International Finance program. The admitted students will spend their second or third year at the ILF to acquire the LL.M. International Finance degree.
After the meeting, the members of the delegation also visited the library of the ILF in the House of Finance.
