On 10 December 2018, a delegation from the Civil, Commercial, Economic Law School of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Beijing, comprising the following professors visited the ILF:
- Prof. Fei Yu, Deputy Dean of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School
- Prof. Kepeng Xue, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic Law, Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School
- Prof. Hongmei Zhao, Director of the Institute of Social Law, Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School
- Prof. Wenxuan Yu, Director of the Institute of Environmental and Resources Law, Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School
- Assoc. Prof. Jing Jin, Lecturer of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School
They were received by Dr. Rolf Friedewald, Managing Director of the ILF, Ms. Shen-Dee Kobbelt, Head of Programs and Marketing, Ms. Chongxiang Chen, Admissions and Marketing Manager and Ms. Xiaojing Zhang, Admissions and Marketing Manager, who during the meeting, provided them with an overview into the organisation and activities of the ILF. They were also given an insight into the program structure and highlights of the LL.M. International Finance program. During lunch, the delegation were also introduced to 2 graduates of CUPL who were currently studying at the ILF. After discussing the important issues regarding the cooperation between the 2 parties, an agreement was finally signed between the 2 parties.
While the ILF already has a cooperation agreement with CUPL via the Ofiice of International Cooperation and Exchange, we hope to further enhance our cooperation with the law school and in this way, encourage more students from the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School to join our LL.M. International Finance program!
