The ILF was pleased to welcome the Delegation of the Committee of Judicial Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam, that consisted of the Hon. Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, MP, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mr. Do Duc Hong Ha, MP, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mr. Nguyen Cong Long, MP, Member of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mrs. Ho Thi Kim Ngan, MP, Member of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mr. Pham Dinh Thanh, MP, Member of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mr. Tran Van Tuan, MP, Member of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Hon. Mrs. Phan Thi Nguyet Thu, MP, Member of the Committee on Judicial Affairs; Mr. Hoang Nam Hai, Director of the Department for Judicial Affairs, Office of the National Assembly; Mr. Vu Dai Phuong, Chief of the International Cooperation Division, Department of Protocol and International Cooperation, Office of the National Assembly and Mrs. Phung Thanh Ha, staff of the Department for Judicial Affairs, Office of the National Assembly. The delegation was also accompanied by Mr. Le Long, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Frankfurt, Mr Hong Tri Vuong, as the interpreter and Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, World University Service (WUS).
The ILF was represented by Dr. Rolf Friedewald, ILF Managing Director, who cordially welcomed the delegation. The delegation was further introduced to the ILF and the LL.M. International Finance Program, through a powerpoint presentation provided by Ms. Qionglan Xu, Admissions and Marketing Manager for the LL.M. International Finance Program.
Prof. Dr. Hanns-Christian Salger, Honorary Professor of Goethe University and lecturer of the ILF, then warmly addressed the distinguished ILF guests. Prof. Dr. Manfred Wandt, ILF Executive Board Director, who was not able to attend had supported the arrangement of the visit of the delegation. Ms. Panagiota Paulina Bountrou, Communications and Media Manager for the ILF, along with the other ILF representatives was also present during the delegation’s visit. Following the conclusion of the deliberations, those present proceeded to the foyer of the House of Finance and were then accompanied to the ILF’s Information Center by Mr. Thorsten Brückner, Librarian, who provided a guided tour to the delegation. The tour ended with a visit of the Westend Campus of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
