Dr. Oliver Heiland

 

Position

Dr. Oliver Heiland is Head Business Solutions & Partnerships at Finance in Motion, with 17 offices globally and 3 bn. AUM, one of the world’s leading impact asset managers. He serves as a member of the management board of FiM Asset Management Sarl and Branch Head of the Luxembourg branch. In his current role, Dr. Heiland provides leadership, strategic direction and overall management in the build-out of FiM’s private market business and Luxembourg fund hub. His department’s coverage responsibility includes business development of new private market business, partnerships, strategy and organizational development. Dr. Heiland has broad subject matter expertise across Asset Management, Finance, M&A, Impact Investing and Sustainable Finance.

Vita

Dr. Heiland studied law in Mannheim, Amsterdam and Adelaide and holds a Master of Comparative Laws from the Universities of Mannheim and Adelaide. He holds a Ph.D. in public international law (The human right to water) and is a fully qualified attorney. Dr. Heiland has been a lecturer since 2009 and is Adjunct Lecturer for “Sustainable Infrastructure Investments for institutional investors (LL.M International Finance Program).
