Joachim Hasselbach is an attorney-at-law at his own law firm Brownstone Partners in Frankfurt. He is qualified both as a German Rechtsanwalt and as an Attorney-at-Law in New York.
Special interests
Joachim Hasselbach specializes in the advice of bord members/C-Suite in the context of Private Equity Buy-Out Scenarios with a particular focus on Management Equity Programs. As a corporate lawyer by training, he has long-standing expertise in domestic and international M&A transactions, corporate restructurings as well as general corporate advice.
Vita
Joachim Hasselbach has more than 20 years of Private Equity and M&A experience and represented Large and Mid-Cap Private Equity Funds and other clients from around the world. He studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University (NYU). He was admitted to the German Bar in 2000 and the New York Bar in 2003. Prior to his current position, he was a Partner in the Private Equity Department of Clifford Chance and before that, an Associate at Hogan Lovells. Joachim Hasselbach was on secondment at Morgan Stanely Infrastructure Fund in London. He started his career as Director Legal in the Venture Capital Division of Bertelsmann in Gütersloh.
