We welcomed our students back on 11 January 2021 who have returned from their 3 weeks' Christmas break to start their classes at the ILF. On 18 December 2020, we concluded the year's lectures (in-person and online) at the ILF as the year 2020 draws to a close. 2020 was an extremely challenging year for all of us and it demanded much of our patience, creativity, flexibility, determination and optimism. On the evening of Friday, 11 December 2020, ILF students of the LL.M. Finance and LL.M. International Finance programs took part in a virtual End-of-Year Social Event and Christmas Party. After the welcoming addresses, our students were divided into 8 groups and placed into different Virtual Escape Rooms with room themes such as Wizard, Murder, Zombie, Prison, Bomb, Madness, Japan and Aztec. On Thursday, 12 November 2020, the ILF hosted the 7th Brexit Lecture in partnership with Deloitte Legal, this time illuminating the situation from a post-Brexit perspective. On 30 October 2020, the annual meetings of the ILF Board of Trustees and the ILF Donors' Committee were held virtually for the first time.
