The 4-week intensive Legal and Management Training Program (13 February to 10 March 2023) has been successfully completed by our LL.M. International Finance students.
During the 4-week program, they went on a 3-day study trip to Bonn and participated in the Intercultural Communication Skills Course as well as Advanced Business and Legal English Course.
In addition, a number of interesting institutional/company visits were made by the students, namely to the Deutsche Bundesbank (German Central Bank) and the European Central Bank on 22 February 2023. The last study visit was made to the law firm Noerr LLP on 8 March 2023 where Dr. Yifan Zhu, Counsel and Co-Head China Desk, Dr. Carmen Böhn, Lawyer and Associate Partner, and Ms. Aleksandra Vujinović, Lawyer, presented Noerr’s Asian perspective, the general aspects for a share deal, as well as the overview of the German business taxation system. After the presentations, our students could participate in an in-depth discussion with the lawyers.
To end off the program, our students were invited to a pizza lunch party on the last day of class on 10 March 2023!
We hope that our students have enjoyed and also learned a lot from the 4-week intensive program and we wish them a good break until the start of the summer semester!
