Although mergers and acquisitions remain preferred vehicles for market entry and growth, dealmaking was not as prolific as expected in 2013. Nonetheless, Europe leads the field with the greatest numbers of deals as compared to the other regions of the world. And M&A deal-makers seem to be optimistic about 2014.

Following a successful start in 2013, the European M&A Conference is being established in the financial metropolis of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, as one of Europe’s leading conferences on mergers and acquisitions with renowned speakers and high-profile corporate participants.
